The January 19, 2010 program, Metro Morning Parenting, hosted by Karen Horsman, broadcast part two of a piece about restorative practices in schools. This segment focused on an anti-bullying program at the Durham District School Board’s Sinclair High School, in Whitby, Ontario, which employs talking circles to impart empathy and respect. The program features an interview with Sinclair’s vice principal Susan Jones. IIRP Canada director Bruce Schenk is bringing restorative practices to the Durham District School Board.
