SPECIAL EVENT The IIRP's SaferSanerSchools Program is a cost effective way to achieve lasting whole-school change that builds relationships between students, staff and parents, improves student behavior, reduces violence and bullying and creates a sense of community. The SaferSanerSchools Program (unlike piecemeal efforts lacking an explicit focus), provides a clear, comprehensive two-year implementation strategy that involves 100% staff participation from day one. Since 1999, IIRP's SaferSanerSchools program has helped even some of the most challenging schools transform their school climate and culture, reduce behavior problems and improve the instructional environment.
Distinct from our trainings, which provide participants with information and skills they can use the next day, the One-Day Conference is designed for decision-makers to learn about restorative practices and determine whether they want to bring it to their school or district.
