The study, in progress since 1999, by the IIRP's Dr. Paul McCold and Ansik Chang, highlights decreases in offending among 3,928 youth discharged from Community Service Foundation and Buxmont Academy's (CSF Buxmont's) restorative programs over a seven-year period. The latest (third) research effort, conducted 2003-2006, confirms results of the previous two studies, showing a dramatic decline in offending rates, achieved through the systematic use of restorative practices, that diminishes only modestly over time.
